Saracens have confirmed the signing of utility back Robbie Kydd from Bath.
The 21-year-old former junior Otago Highlander will cover the centre, fly half and full back positions and joins the club on an 18-month contract from Monday (22/12).
He is EU qualified and a very exciting talent and has played junior representative rugby wearing the silver fern, playing for his country at schoolboy, U19 and U21 level as well as being a part of the NZ Universities side last season.
Meanwhile, Saracens centre Kevin Sorrell has been ruled out for a further four weeks after fracturing his hand in training yesterday (Wednesday 17/12).
Sorrell had been making good progress after suffering a groin injury against NEC Harlequins in October but suffered the latest setback in his first light training session with the rest of the squad.
