With just 24 hours until the Zurich Premiership champions are known, both clubs are excited about the prospect of playing in the first ever Zurich Premiership Final. Both Gloucester and London Wasps were at Twickenham today for a team run through and to prepare for what promises to be one of the biggest games in domestic rugby ever staged.
Wasps's hooker Phil Greening says the team can't wait for tomorrow: "It's going to be fantastic - it's a new concept which will take people some time to get used to but it's a great occasion and a great way to finish the season. From a spectator's point of view it is fantastic that the top and second placed clubs are battling it out for the Championship.
"We have all bought into it and if Gloucester say they are the best then they have to come here tomorrow and beat us first.
"We have had a good run-in with a good game last weekend against Bath and are fully match fit. We are on a bit of a roll and tomorrow should be great. I think it is the way forward for rugby in terms of good PR and attracting new fans, sponsors and players."
Paul Volley who is in the starting line-up for Wasps and will be traveling to New Zealand and Australia as part of the England tour this summer, is also excited about tomorrow: "I can't wait for tomorrow. It is potentially the biggest game in the club's history if we win two trophies in a season."
More than 40,000 fans are expected at Twickenham tomorrow and with a favourable weather forecast and a host of family entertainment on offer, fans are being encouraged to turn up on the day and buy tickets. Whoever you support it promises to be a match not to miss.
