Leeds Tykes have today confirmed that their Zurich Premiership game against Saracens at Headingley on Sunday 12th October will kick off at 3pm; instead of 2.30pm as advertised. The move is to avoid a clash with England's World Cup group game against Georgia in Australia, which will kick off at 1pm.
Commenting on the move Media Manager Phil Daly said, "We have had a number of letters and emails from supporters of both the Tykes and Saracens asking for the kick off to be moved. We are as excited as everyone else about the World Cup and wish Clive Woodward and the rest of the team the best of luck. We will have the game on in all of our bars for the Saracens game so fans can come down early, support England and then enjoy a top class Zurich Premiership game.
"With our own Mark Regan and Saracens Kyran Bracken and Richard Hill all likely to be involved for England, it should be a great day for all the fans," added Daly.
