Leicester Tigers unveil their new home shirt today, with a design that will provide a strong link to the club's past.
"Our new home shirt has been designed to mark our 125-year anniversary," said Leicester Tigers managing director David Clayton. "It has a retro-look and we have returned to our traditional striped design, as we acknowledge the club's rich heritage.
During the past four seasons, Tigers shirts have become the best-selling club replicas in the British Isles. Our current green home and black away strips have both broken previous sales records and we are confident that the new striped shirt will be even more successful.
"We did a lot of research into the new design, consulting both supporters and players, and we believe the final product shows the strength and character of Tigers. There is a current fashion trend towards striped jerseys and we are confident that this will prove to be a very popular leisure garment for our supporters all around the world."
