Midlands ten to face Wales in Under-18 training games

Ten Midlands players have been included in a 53-strong England Under-18 squad for to training matches against their Wales counterparts at Ebbw Vale on Sunday March 5.
The games will form part of England's preparations for the forthcoming Home Unions Tournament, which will be staged in Gloucestershire from April 16 to 21, and the AER European Championships, which take place in the Treviso region of Italy in early April.
The games at Ebbw Vale's Eugene Cross Park ground will kick-off at 11.30am and 1.30pm and rolling substitutions wil be permitted to allow the selectors to try out different combinations.
The England squad, which trained at Castlecroft in Wolverhampton and RAF Cosford in Shropshire two weeks ago, has not yet been split into Home Unions and AER squads.
The ten Midlands players who will be in action at Ebbw Vale are winger Miles Benjamin (King Edward's School, Birmingham and North Midlands ), lock James Cannon (Bishop Stopford School, Northampton Saints and East Midlands), flanker Matthew Cox (Worcester Warriors and North Midlands), fly-half George Crook (Bromsgrove School, Worcester Warriors and North Midlands), prop Joel Diggins (Bromsgrove School, Worcester Warriors and North Midlands), scrum-half Spencer Eke (Leicester Tigers and Leicestershire), full-back Charlie Fellows (King';s School, Worcester, Worcester and North Midlands), hooker Joe Gray (South Nottingham College, Nottingham and NL&D), hooker George Thomas (Bromsgrove School, Luctonians and North Midlands), Greig Tonks (Nottingham HS, Leicester Tigers and NL&D).
