Two Dorset & Wilts players have been named in the South West Divisional Under 18s squad for this season.

Lock Rhys Jones from Corsham RFC and centre Jonathon May from Wootton Bassett RFC were two of nine players from the Twin Counties who attended the divisional trials at Bristol Grammar School.

Jones and May now have the chance to state their claim for a place in the South West squad who will take part in a Divisional Festival in December, where they will compete in games against the North, Midlands and London & South East.

If they are successful at the Divisional Festival, which will be held at Broadstreet RFC on December 21-23, they could be included in this season's Home Unions and Association of European Rugby (AER) competitions.

Dorset & Wilts Under 18s have enjoyed one of their most successful season's on the pitch this term, winning games against Buckinghamshire (away), Berkshire (away) and Oxfordshire (home). They also made history by having nine players selected to attend the South West Divisional Trials. The Twin Counties Under 18s team are coached by John Brown, Chris Stagg and Simon Culley.
