Worcester Warriors' England sevens flanker Matt Cox will be back at his first club Woodrush on Sunday December 14 to help them celebrate achieving RFU Seal of Approval Year Two status.
Cox began his playing career with the north Worcestershire club as a schoolboy but he was spotted playing county rugby in the North Midlands age group sides and was soon signed up to join the Academy at the Guinness Premiership club.
Cox, who has played for England Under-18s and England Under-20s, has now broken into the first team squad at Worcester but he will be back at Woodrush's Forhill ground on Sunday to present his old club with their Seal of Approval certificate.
Seal of Approval recognises that a club has achieved the highest standards in providing a safe, effective and child-friendly environment in which youngsters can learn their rugby.
The Seal of Approval presentation will be the centre-piece of a busy day of activities at Woodrush which will also include the club's Mini & Junior Section Christmas Party.
There will be a Dads v Lads fixture and former Moseley and Royal Navy prop Tim Hardwick will be organising a version of 'It's A Knockout' indoors.
The bar will open at 12 noon and the Seal of Approval presentation will follow at 12.15pm.
