A Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel met at the Bristol Filton Holiday Inn last night (Wednesday) to discuss three cases.
John Andress of Exeter Chiefs was charged with striking contrary to law 10(4)(a) in a match against Doncaster on December 6th. He was found guilty and suspended for two weeks. As he has already served a one week club ban he is free to play again on December 23rd, 2008.
Mark Cornwell of Cinderford RFC was found guilty of stamping contrary to Law 10(4)(b) in a match against Redruth on November 1st. He has been suspended for nine weeks and is free to play again on February 20th, 2009.
Adesina Obileye of Cinderford RFC also was charged with striking contrary to Law 10(4)(a) in a match against Launceston's 2nd on December 6th. He was found guilty and suspended for two weeks. As he has already served a one week club ban he is free to play again on December 23rd, 2008.
