NORTHAMPTON Saints' Ireland international number eight Roger Wilson has been summoned to appear before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel for an alleged act of foul play during the Guinness Premiership match against Harlequins at Franklin's Gardens last Saturday.
Wilson has been charged with an offence of dangerous tackling in the seventh minute of the first half contrary to Law 10 (4) (e) after a review of the video of the match by an independent citing officer.
Wilson will appear before a disciplinary panel at the London Bloomsbury Holiday Inn Hotel on Monday January 5 (6.30pm).
The panel will comprise Jeremy Summers (chairman), John Doubleday and Julian Morris.
