Joe Barker of Leeds Carnegie and QEGS Wakefield has been handed the captaincy armband for England Under 18's penultimate test in Argentina.
Flanker Barker will lead England against Uruguay on Wednesday at the Hindu Club in Argentina, kick-off 8pm BST. Barker is one of a handful of changes to the starting line-up with Coach John Fletcher continuing to give his 32 man squad plenty of game time.
Only four players, Leeds' George Ford, Sale's Tom Holmes, London Irish's Sam Edgerley and Saracens' Owen Farrell, who featured in England's convincing 107-3 victory against Mendoza Under 18s on Sunday start Wednesday's game.
England head into the test against Uruguay in confident spirits after three wins from three so far, with victories over Tucuman, Buenos Aires and Mendoza under their belts. England are also still to play Argentina in an international Test Match on Sunday.
England Coach Fletcher said: "We are looking forward to our final warm-up test which we are anticipating will be another physical game. It's great to have been given this extra fixture just four days before we take on Argentina in the Test Match. This is the players' final chance to stake their claim for a Test Match place so I am looking forward to seeing them play with passion and pride."
