England Team Manager Martin Johnson will face his first Test in charge of England on Saturday November 8 (kick off 2.30pm) when they take on the Pacific Islanders in the first Investec Challenge match. Fans at the 82,000 capacity Home of England Rugby will have the opportunity to watch the first outing of Johnson's England. Players in the 32-man England squad include Danny Cipriani (London Wasps), James Haskell (London Wasps), Toby Flood (Leicester Tigers) and Mathew Tait (Sale Sharks), and you can be there!
The match will be the ultimate test of strength as England take on the powerful Pacific Islanders, with representatives from Samoa, Fiji and Tonga, ready to test England to the limit. England last faced the Samoans and Tongans in their own right at the 2007 Rugby World Cup, with both nations making England work hard en route to the final. With the strength of three nations merged into one team it's one game you can't miss.
Martin Johnson said: "The Pacific Islanders have some great athletes, players like Mapusua and Tagicakibau love to run the ball, they're powerful and dangerous.
"It's not a warm up game and one thing's for sure - it's going to be a full on Test match."
