- Broadfoot and Hill look ahead to the Varsity game on December 10
Ross Broadfoot has been clock watching towards the 128th Nomura Varsity Match. The Cambridge University fly half was on the end of last year's 33-29 result and he told the RFU podcast it's been a long 12 months ahead of the game at Twickenham on December 10.
Broadfoot said: "We have a counter on our website that counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the game and it seems to have taken for ever to come round. But now it has we are raring to go."
Oxford's Director of Rugby Steve Hill, going into his 14th Varsity match, said: "It's the only rugby game where you spend 364 days preparing for it. You only have 80 minutes and the whole season rests on it. If you win you are in heaven if you lose you are in hell."
Kick off for the 128th Nomura Varsity Match is 2.00pm. Tickets start from £20.00 with discounts available for students, schools and groups and are available via the RFU.com Nomura Varsity Match event page.
