London Wasps winger Christian Wade scored two tries to help England beat Argentina 17-7 in their second match of the Emirates Airline South Africa Sevens.

Wade scored a double against Tunisia this morning and repeated it this afternoon with a try in each half.

It was seven a piece at half time, the Army’s Isoa Damudamu breaking the deadlock two minutes into the second half and Wade scoring his second try on the buzzer to give England the 17-7 victory.

England face Scotland in their third pool match today at 7.32pm local time (GMT +2).

England: Isoa Damudamu (British Army), Dan Norton (Bristol Rugby), Jake Abbott (Worcester Warriors), Nick Royle (Fylde), Kevin Barrett (capt, Saracens), Ben Gollings (Gold Coast, Australia), Chris Cracknell (unattached)
