England Team Manager, Martin Johnson today welcomed RNZ 2011 Ltd’s announcement that 23 venues across New Zealand will host teams during the Rugby World Cup 2011.
Martin Johnson said: "We had a very successful five day visit to New Zealand a couple of weeks ago and it was essential that we saw all the options and the facilities at first hand, which were all of a very high standard. We’ve booked the training grounds, gyms and rehab facilities and we’re sure New Zealand will host an excellent RWC 2011."
England will stay in Christchurch for the first 19 days of their RWC 2011 campaign, arriving in New Zealand on August 31.
After their first two pool games against Argentina on September 10 and the qualifier from Europe 1 eight days later, they will travel to Queenstown for three days and then Dunedin for a further three days to prepare for the game against a Play-off winner on September 24.
The squad will then spend seven days in Auckland ahead of their final pool match against Scotland on October 1.
