The Nomura varsity match between Oxford and Cambridge is traditionally one of the most fiercely contested matches to take place at Twickenham Stadium.
A great atmosphere, vocal crowd and good rugby are always on offer and the 128th clash between the two universities on December 10 will be no different and some lucky fans will be able to enjoy the day for as little as £10 each.
From 12.00pm on Friday, October 16 tickets normally priced at £20 and £35 will be available on a special ‘two for one’ offer until 12.00pm on Monday October 19.
Cambridge will be captained by Australia RWC 2003 runner-up Dan Vickerman and Oxford by former England U16 international Dan Rosen whose names will be added to the alumni of legends who played in the fixture over the last 127 years including Gerald Davies, Joe Roff and Gavin Hastings.
Elite Rugby Director and former England, British & Irish Lions and Cambridge legend Rob Andrew MBE said:“The Varsity match is always a special day in the rugby calendar. I will be there and I’m looking forward to seeing a number of team mates and members of the Oxford team that we played in 1984.
“It will be the 25th anniversary of that game and in the Centenary of Twickenham Stadium so there will be a lot of reasons for us and all the fans on the day to celebrate and enjoy the day.”
