- Harlequins beat Connacht 20-9 in pool one
- Leeds secure second win of season and first at Headingley against Crociati
Harlequins beat Connacht 20-9 but still surrendered top spot in pool one to Bayonne while Leeds Carnegie stormed to a first home win of the season.
Quins' Tom Guest, standing in at No.8 in the absence of the unwell Nick Easter, gave his side an ideal start when he raced in from 35 metres, and then made a key contribution to a second try for the team 10 minutes into the second half.
Guest made a break before throwing a long pass out for Mike Brown to supply the finish.
Miah Nikora kicked three penalties for Connacht, while Nick Evans had two penalties and two conversions for Quins.
