Graham Rowntree believes that Dan Cole can take on the Italian pack and won't be fazed by the power of Rome.

The 22-year-old tight-head will make his first start for England at the Stadio Flaminio and England scrummaging coach Rowntree told the RFU Podcast: "It's always a challenge away in Rome but with their forward pack and the way they want to play we need to be switched on and it's a credit to Dan that we trust him to do that for us.

"I've known him since he was 18 and have always been very respectful of how coachable he is. He is always one of the first players to be asking you to go through his game. I am delighted with what he did last week when he came on and how he has been around the squad and what he can give us."
