Barnsley RFC hosts women's Roses rugby

Yorkshire rugby union enthusiasts inspired by England's valiant effort in the recent Women's Rugby World Cup will get a chance to see the level of competition further down the pecking order when teams from Yorkshire and Lancashire meet at Barnsley RFC on Sunday November 7.

With an inceased level of interest being shown in the women's game since this summer's World Cup, the tournament has proved to be a huge advert for the game, with fans across the board impressed by the high standards of England's elite women players.

Barnsley's Shaw Lane headquarters will host the afternoon, starting at 1.00pm and featuring a series of three Roses matches involving Under-15, Under-16 and Senior women.
