New Zealand fly half Dan Carter is gunning for England having recovered from recent ankle surgery in time for the opening Investic International at Twickenham on November 6.

Carter, who was a fitness doubt following the operation, has been named by All Blacks coach Graham Henry in his starting XV to face Australia in Saturday's Bledisloe Cup clash at Hong Kong Stadium.

With the Investec International fixture against Martin Johnson's men one week later, Carter will line up at number 10 against the Wallabies in a bid to recapture full match fitness and form.

Along with Carter, who will win his 75th cap, Henry has made three other changes for the Blediscoe Cup encounter, with Jimmy Cowan returning at scrum-half following Piri Weepu's broken leg, Jerome Kaino named at blindside flanker and Joe Rokocoko set to line up on the wing.

Hikawera Elliot will earn his first cap if the hooker comes off the bench while Isaia Toeava is back in the squad following hip surgery.

The Investec Internationals are available to watch live on Sky Sports, with extended Highlights being shown on BBC Sport after the fixtures. Follow the link for full Sky Sports listings
