Which RFU Championship side do you support: Bedford Blues
How long have you supported the club? 15 years
What is the best thing about being a RFU Championship rugby supporter? How competitive it is, especially this season, everyone can – and are – beating each other. It makes not only supporting your team exciting (and frustrating!), but also means you keep constant track of other results in the league.
Who is you player of the season so far?
There have been a lot of great performances in and out of Goldington Road. Josh Bassett (Bedford wing), is turning into a fantastic player at a very young age. James Pritchard, (Bedford captain) has also been fantastic. Our results have picked up since his return from the World Cup which shows how much of an influence he is.
Who do you think will win the 2011-12 RFU Championship season?
Of course I would say Bedford but it's too tight to call at the moment with the Blues, Bristol, Pirates, London Welsh and Rotherham all close. And not forgetting Doncaster and Nottingham who have all had good results during the season, and after a slow start Leeds will be up there.
What do you enjoy about RFU Championship rugby?
The quality of the rugby played in the division is highly underated, and I think the Premiership clubs are starting to notice it. Exeter Chiefs and Worcester have both been promoted and been competitive, and many of the young Premiership players are finding themselves at clubs like Bedford because the Championship is giving them top quality matches.
Sum up the RFU Championship in three words: Top quality competition
