- Nottingham Rugby sing own version of Pogues classic ‘Fairlytale of New York’
- Jackson, Hammond, Erinle, Streather and Munro get into Christmas spirit
RFU Championship side Nottingham Rugby have truly jumped into the Christmas spirit, recording their very own version of The Pogues seasonal classic ‘Fairlytale of New York’.
Cleverly titled ‘Fairytale of Nottingham’, the song features the sultry tones of David Jackson, Craig Hammond, Ayoola Erinle, Tim Streather and Joe Munro.
Complete with Christmas jumpers, the men of the Green & Whites sing their own Championship version of the 1987 festive favourite, including lyrics: "We’ve got arms big as bars, we’ve got hearts full of gold, but the Championship’s tough, it’s no place for the old."
