Rugby’s arrival in the Olympic programme was underlined this week when two England Sevens stars joined forces with other Great Britain athletes to launch the Power2Podium talent search programme.

We hear from Tom Powell and Heather Fisher and discover more from former Wales wing and GB track ace Nigel Walker, Winter Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams and rising sprint star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey.

Powell was inspired at meeting potential future teammates and told the podcast: "Rugby is new to this Olympic family and we need to listen and learn how to go about this in the best way so that the GB sevens team goes to the Games in 2016 in the best possible shape."

We also catch up with England Sevens head coach Ben Ryan as his squad head for Bucharest and the final leg of the FIRA European Grand Prix Sevens Series.

And Sevens is on the menu back home with the JP Morgan Premiership Sevens kicking off in Bath tomorrow night.

Finally the podcast team tracks down Leicester Tigers fly half George Ford, the teenager nominated for the IRB World Junior Player of the Year after steering England’s Under 20 side to the final of last month’s Junior World Championship.
