England Under 20 prop Henry Thomas has agreed a new contract to remain at Sale Sharks for the next three years.
Thomas, who joined Sale from Bristol, only made his debut in October but has scored three tries in 16 appearances this season and the 19-year-old has been rewarded for his fine displays.
Thomas told the club's official site: "I'm very happy to extend the length of my contract, and to be given the opportunity to play for the club for another three years.
"I'm really looking forward to pushing forward next year, along with lots of new faces arriving at the club. I've probably already exceeded my personal targets for the season already, and it didn't take me long to sign up for the chance to stay with the Sharks."
Thomas started England U20's first match of this season's 6 Nations campaign, away in Wales, and will be on the bench when Rob Hunter's men meet Scotland in Newbury this Friday night.
Sale executive director Steve Diamond believes Thomas has a bright future in the game, saying: "Henry is a great prospect who has a great attitude, great work ethic and it's a massive plus for the club with Henry agreeing to re-sign. He belies his age and he is exactly the type of player we need, to help us get to where we want to be."
