Name: Ed Jackson
Age: 22
Club: London Welsh
Position: No.8

Quickfire…

Worst dressed player at London Welsh: Michael Powel because he dresses like a sixty year-old.

Best banter: Well apart from myself, probably Billy Moss.

Last film you watched: Lucky Number Sleven.

iphone or Blackberry: Nokia 3210! I went through 3 iphone in a month so concluded they didn’t agree with me and went back to the trusty Nokia. But it’s brilliant because it’s got the original snake on.

And from our @RFUChampionship Twitter followers…

@Laurie_Beth: What is the most memorable moment of your career?

Probably my debut for the Bath Rugby first team. I started at No.8 against Leicester at the Rec when I was 19.

@BenHowcroft: If you could pick one player in the world to join London Welsh who would it be and why?

Someone like Dan Carter – he could afford to take all the boys out and pay for everything!

@mikeleephysio: With your try scoring, do you think you should be a wing?

I’ve always dreamt of being a wing, and I tried to persuade the wings at the club that I was going to hold some finishing classes but no one showed up so I’m not sure they took it the right way.

@Stefanjc: Do you see London Welsh as a stepping stone to the Premiership or can you get back to the top flight with them?

I think LW are more than capable of getting to the Premiership themselves. It’s a great club. To be honest, I don’t really think that far ahead though. I think we’re capable of winning the Championship this year and if we get promoted, I’d want to be there with them.

@EdwardPrice8: Do you think it will be difficult to get geared up against your former club Doncaster Knights in a few weeks?

No way! It will be very easy to geared up against them – probably the easiest out of all our fixtures! You’re playing against old mates which is good fun.
