- Hartpury and Filton top North, South Groups, respectively
Round One of the RFU AASE league kicked off this week and holders Hartpury began their campaign with a 15-0 win against Moulton as scrum half Callum Braley and prop Jack Cosgrove got the tries for the Gloucestershire club.

However, Oaklands top the table after the first batch of matches after putting 54 unanswered points on the board against Myerscough.
Prince Henry’s were also in action in the North Group, running out eventual 30-17 winners against Worcester.
The next round of matches pits Hartpury against Prince Henry’s, Moulton against Myerscough, while Oaklands will travel to Worcester.
In the South Group, Filton currently lead the way after beating St. Paul’s 53-10, with 18 points coming from fly half Will Thomas’ boot in the seven try win.
Ivybridge and Henley college also got off to winning starts, as Ivybridge’s flying wing Jack Arnott touched down three times, helping his side to a 41-29 win against local rivals Exeter College. And Henley had a 16-point win over Truro, running out eventual 36-20 victors.
Filton will play Exeter in the next round of matches, Ivybridge will take on Truro and St Paul’s will play host to Henley.
