Midlands Under 16s trial squad named

  • Midlands step up preparations for Under 16 Divisional Festival
  • Competition increases for places

The Midlands Under 16 selectors have invited 44 players to take part in the Midlands trial at Leicester GS on Sunday December 16 (1pm).

The players have been invited after they were watched and graded by Midlands selectors during the programme of inter-county matches earlier this season that included two Super Sunday tournaments at Luctonians and Scunthorpe, which involved all six Midlands counties.

After the trial the Midlands squad will be reduced for training sessions in the New Year ahead of the Divisional Festival at Broadstreet RFC near Coventry from February 1 to 3 where the Midlands will play London & South East on the final day.
