Former South Africa Sevens international Danwel Demas will represent the South Africa Northern Barbarians XV against England on Tuesday evening in Potchefstroom.
30 year-old Demas, a winger who has also played for Italian club Aironi and the Blue Bulls over a nomadic career, is part of an invitational team that will be looking to avenge the 54-26 defeat handed to the Southern Barbarians in Kimberley last week.
Three years ago, Demas played for the Free State Cheetahs against the British and Irish Lions – a side that included Englishmen Harry Ellis, Joe Worsely and Andrew Sheridan.
The Northern Barbarians are captained by Ford Pumas outside centre JW Jonkers.
