Lincoln will be hosting its second touch rugby festival of the summer on August 4.

The festival, which is being organised by Lincoln Touch rugby, will be staged on Lincoln RFC’s prison pitch starting at 1pm.

The festival follows a similar event which was successfully staged last month and is part of the RFU O2 Touch initiative.

The cost is £2 per player and all money raised will be donated to charity. Further information can be obtained from Mike Beard at  07772 298 727.

O2 Touch is the RFU’s nationwide initiative, helping to make the fun-filled, socially driven game of touch rugby available to all. Touch Rugby can be played anywhere at anytime.

All you need is a ball, some space and friends. The O2 Touch programme will roll out this summer across England with clubs hosting festivals and touch rugby training and games, more activity will follow in the autumn. If you want to find out more go to
