Rotherham Titans club captain Sam Dickinson has agreed a deal which will see him leave Clifton Lane at the end of the season and join Premiership outfit Northampton Saints.
Sam has given Rotherham Titans three years of excellent service and his combative, physical style has made him a firm favourite with supporters. After making his Titans debut in 2009, Dickinson has gone on to make 63 appearances, scoring four tries along the way.
The supporters have been fantastic - Dickinson
Although sad to leave the South Yorkshire club, Dickinson is relishing the opportunity to test himself at the top table of English rugby.
Dickinson explained, “I’ve loved every minute of my time at Rotherham and learned a lot during my time at Clifton Lane. I’ve developed a close relationship with Andre and he’s taught me a great deal. The supporters have been fantastic and I appreciate all the support they have given me during my time at Rotherham. I am however really looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead and of testing myself with the step up to the Premiership.”
Rotherham Titans wish to put on record their gratitude to Sam Dickinson for his immense contribution to the team and wish him all the best with his future career at Northampton Saints.
