Former England captain Mike Tindall heads a list of star names from ten countries who feature in a 33-strong Barbarians' squad for their three-match summer tour.
Tindall made the last of his 75 England appearances against Scotland at Rugby World Cup 2011 and was not included in the Elite Player Squads announced by Stuart Lancaster in January.
The 33-year-old, who is leaving Gloucester Rugby at the end of the season, has taken the opportunity to put himself in the shop window alongside international stars such as New Zealand's most-capped full-back Mils Muliaina, South Africa's World Cup winning captain John Smit, Argentine points' machine Felipe Contepomi and supercharged Leinster utility back Isa Nacewa.
The tour opener against England for the Killik Cup on May 27 and is followed by assignments against Ireland in Gloucester and Wales at the Millennium Stadium. The Barbarians defeated all three countries in their most recent fixtures against them.
Stuart Lancaster announced his 27-man squad for the match yesterday, adding four to a group that is shorn of the players from Aviva Premiership finalists Leicester Tigers and Harlequins.
Among the Barbarian debutants behind the scrum are Samoan duo Sailosi Tagicakibau and Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu and a home nations' duo of Stephen Jones and Rory Lawson. Shane Williams is set to take his final curtain on the international stage when the Barbarians face Wales on 2 June.
In an experienced pack Duncan Jones, John Afoa, John Beattie, Juan Manuel Leguizamon and Mick O'Driscoll also become Baa-Baas for the first time. The squad, which will be coached by All Blacks' legend John Kirwan assisted by Grant Doorey, assembles in London on May 22.
Tickets are still available for the Killik Cup: England v Barbarians at Twickenham Stadium on May 27, with adults from £25 and juniors from £10.
