England and Leicester Tigers centre Manu Tuilagi has had his citing for a tip tackle on Danny Care during the Aviva Premiership final dismissed by an RFU disciplinary panel.
A panel of Christopher Quinlan QC (chair), Dan White and Nick Dark was not satisfied on the balance of probabilities that the referee was wrong in not sending the 21-year-old off for a tackle on Harlequins scrum half Care during the Aviva Premiership final at Twickenham Stadium on May 26.
Tuilagi, who has 10 Test caps for England, is therefore free to continue playing and will fly out to South Africa with the England squad as scheduled tomorrow evening.
