Australia come to Twickenham Stadium off the back of a defeat in France. “They’ll be wounded,” says England prop Dan Cole, “but if they can beat England at Twickenham it’ll put their season right.”
In anticipation, training has gone up a notch, hooker Tom Youngs tells us, and Chris Ashton is looking forward to making his return in the only change to England’s line-up.
We also visit the Wallabies training camp where No.3 Ben Alexander is impressed by what he’s seen of England this year under Stuart Lancaster.
Their open side flanker Michael Hooper – whose dad emigrated to Australia in the 1980s – is also anticipating a special day.
In the domestic game, we reach the second round of LV= Cup matches and we hear from Harlequins’ new fly half Ben Botica – son of New Zealand’s dual code legend Frano – on his move to the Twickenham Stoop.
