In the week that England unveiled their squad for the QBE Internationals, we catch up with two of the coaches and one of the players preparing to take on the Southern Hemisphere sides at Twickenham Stadium.

The RFU Podcast was in the City of London for the squad announcement that saw the experienced James Haskell and Ugo Monye, and rookies Mako Vunipola and Tom Youngs added to the 32.

Forwards coach Graham Rowntree runs the rule over the additions up front – including 21 year-old prop Vunipola – while attack coach Mike Catt was in a positive mood about the talent available.

Scrum half Ben Youngs – hooker Tom’s younger brother – is one of those fighting for a place when the QBE Internationals begin with Fiji the visitors on November 10.

We caught up with him after his Amlin man-of-the-match display for Leicester Tigers against the Ospreys in the Heineken Cup.
