As we count down to the Marriott London Sevens in May and this year’s safari fancy dress theme, Canterbury is offering new prizes for the Rugby Football Union’s (RFU) digital safari, with one week left to spot the selection of England Sevens players that have been transformed into 3D animal avatars.

Fans are invited to get involved in the digital safari by looking out for the animal avatars, which can be spotted across all RFU channels – within stories, videos, pictures, tweets and Facebook posts – as well as on partner websites. Be warned: these animals may be hard to spot but for those fans with the eye of the tiger, there are some big game rewards.

As well as the top prizes already on offer, rugby fans and families hunting down our pack will now be in with a chance of winning one of the new England Sevens home or alternate shirts courtesy of kit partner, Canterbury.

The shirts, unveiled last week, will be worn for the first time at the Marriott London Sevens. As part of Canterbury's ‘Home or Away’ campaign, which asks fans to pledge their allegiance to the home or alternate shirt, the winner will be able to pick which shirt they’d like to take home.

Other prizes on offer include a Marriott worldwide weekend break, £100 voucher for the Rugby Store and weekend passes for the winner and nine friends to the Marriott London Sevens.

The choice of animal avatar was inspired by each player’s personality and match-winning qualities. You’ll have to be quick off the mark to catch speedster Dan Norton’s cheetah avatar, but keep your eyes on the prize as the formidable presence of Matt Turner the hawk flies over you.

Entering the competition is easy – each avatar features a unique code, all you need to do is note it down then visit www.rfu.com/7shunt to enter the code along with a few details about yourself. Fans can enter once for each animal. As each avatar will appear on a number of sites, it doesn’t matter where you find it – just follow the link and enter.

There’s only a week left to enter, with the hunt running until April 22, 2013 and the winner of the prize associated with each avatar will then be drawn at random. Terms and conditions can be found here.
