The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has invited operators to tender to become licensed as an Official Provider of Hospitality at Twickenham Stadium.
The successful bidders will be granted a non-exclusive licence under the Licensed Operators Scheme (LOS) to sell official hospitality packages at all RFU organised and controlled matches and events at the Stadium.
The LOS was set up six years ago by the RFU to allow tickets to be sold only through those designated Official Providers of Hospitality. This protects rugby fans by reducing the risk of tickets being sold on the black market. The licensed operators pay the RFU royalties that are invested back into the sport.
The first LOS is due to expire in July 2014 and the RFU is now inviting tenders from interested providers for a new agreement to run from September 2014 for two seasons. This reflects the RFU’s desire to continually improve the levels of service provided to supporters of the game.
The current Official Providers of Hospitality are Eventmasters, Events International, Lucid Events, National Sporting Club, Mike Burton Corporate Hospitality Ltd, Tiger Events and Twickenham Experience Ltd.

Bidders will need to pay an administrative charge of £100. The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Monday, September 9, 2013.
