- Worcester Wanderers meet Moseley in National Colts Cup first-round clash
- All Cup ties to be played on or before weekend of September 28/29
Worcester Wanderers, beaten finalists in last season’s National Colts Cup, will face Moseley, the first-ever winners of the competition, in this season’s first round.
Worcester Wanderers were beaten 24-7 by Bishop’s Stortford in last May’s final and will have home advantage against Moseley, who won the competition in 1998, in a first-round tie that is scheduled to be played on or before the weekend of September 28/29.
The winners will travel to Shropshire to play either Shrewsbury or Whitchurch in the second round in October.

A Plate competition for sides beaten in rounds one to three of the Cup was introduced in 1999/2000.
Both competitions are organised by the East Midlands RU.
