This week, we catch up with London Wasps, who have been put through their paces by two of the country's top sprint stars as part of their pre-season preparations.

We speak to England's Joe Simpson and Tom Varndell about their need for speed and their session with 100m specialists Adam Gemili and Jeanette Kwakye.

Aviva Premiership clubs will be putting that know-how into action in next month's JP Morgan Asset Management Premiership Sevens.

Scrum half Simpson explained: "We've been learning about sprinting techniques, getting that initial burst of speed. It's the difference between getting through a gap and not getting through a gap."

We also catch up with head coach Gary Street as England Women prepare for the final Test of their three match series in New Zealand.

England were set to level the series until a last-play try saw them go down 14-9 in Waikato and Head Coach Gary Street wants them to kick on and finish in style in the third Test in Pukehohe on Saturday.

And we check in at London Welsh, where the enthusiastic new coaching team of Justin Burnell and Gordon Ross are planning for their Greene King Championship campaign.
