England Women U20s have named their side to take on South Africa in Sunday’s third/fourth place Nations Cup final at Trent College, kick off 2.00pm.

The two sides met in the opening game of the tournament with South Africa running out 24-22 winners, but Head Coach Amanda Bennett is confident that her side can produce a match winning performance.

She said: “Our performances have improved as the tournament has gone on. We’ve learnt lessons from the first three matches and our focus is fully on South Africa and ending the Nations Cup on a high.

“I know that we have improved hugely from when we played them in our first game. South Africa are a competitive side; they work hard, they play smart, they have an aggressive defence and they will definitely be tough opponents.

Bennett added: “On behalf of all the England U20s squad I'd like to highlight the support we've had throughout the tournament. Spectators have been vocal and passionate which has helped the team each game. We do hope we'll get the same level of support this Sunday and I know the players want to give them a win to cheer about.”
