Prop Gethin Jenkins will captain Wales against England on Saturday at the Millennium Stadium after returning from injury.

The Toulon loose-head will replace Paul James in the front row following his recovery from a calf injury, which ruled him out of the team’s 28-18 win over Scotland. It will be Jenkins’ fifth match as captain.

The only other change to the line-up is in the back row, where Justin Tipuric comes in at flanker as a replacement for Ryan Jones, who suffered a broken shoulder against The Scots. Sam Warburton will move to blindside to make way for Tipuric at openside.

"The players have worked very hard to put themselves in this position for Saturday, with three hard fought victories on the road," said interim Wales coach Rob Howley.

"Gethin comes back in and will captain the side and his leadership will be invaluable.

"Saturday is a big finale for the tournament but we have a very experienced squad, who have been in this position before, that have played in big games and that will be important come kick-off."
