New Argentina coach Daniel Hourcade has named an experienced side to face England at Twickenham on Saturday, with their starting XV boasting 417 caps between them.

Hourcade succeeded Santiago Phelan as the Pumas head coach a fortnight ago and has gone with experience for his first game in charge.

The Argentina starting XV shows five changes to the team that lost 54-17 in the previous Test match against Australia.

Maximiliano Bustos replaces injured prop Juan Figallo in the front row, while a last-minute change in the match squad sees Eusebio Guinazu retain his place at hooker after Worcester's Agustin Creevy withdrew due to injury.

Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino starts at full-back in the absence of the injured Juan Martin Hernandez while Santiago Fernandez comes in at inside centre in place of Felipe Contepomi, who retired following the Pumas defeat to Australia.

Tomas Cubelli is selected ahead of Martin Landajo at scrum half.

Thirteen of their starting XV play in the Aviva Premiership or French Top 14, with Bath’s Guinazu and Horacio Agulla, Leicester’s Marcos Ayerza and Pablo Matera, Saracens centre Marcelo Bosch and Worcester second row Mariano Galarza all included.

Experienced centre Gonzalo Tiesi, uncapped teenage wing Santiago Cordero and young hooker Santiago Iglesias are all called up to the bench.

Juan Manuel Leguizamon captains the side with Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe sidelined for three months with a fractured elbow.

Despite the absence of Fernandez Lobbe, Hernandez and Creevy, the Argentina starting XV boasts 204 more caps than the team England fielded against Australia last weekend.

Argentina continue their tour against Wales in Cardiff on November 16 and Italy in Rome a week later.
