  • Pershore and Yardley & District to try again after traffic chaos

Newbold on Avon, winners of the Midlands Senior Vase in 2011, will travel to Crewe & Nantwich in the regional quarter-finals of this season’s RFU Intermediate Cup.

Newbold beat Stafford 21-16 in the third round while Crewe & Nantwich eased to a 49-13 win over Oadby Wyggestonians.

In the RFU Senior Vase Stockwood Park will have to wait to discover who they will face in their fourth-round tie, the regional quarter-finals.

Pershore and Yardley & District will try again on December 21, the date for the fourth round. The winners will travel to play Stockwood Park on February 1.

Stewarts & Lloyds’ reward for beating Edwardians, beaten finalists in the 2011 RFU Junior Vase, is a trip to Handsworth in the fourth round.
