This week the RFU Podcast looks ahead to this month's big first round of Heineken Cup matches.

The captains assembled in Cardiff to preview the competition which kicks off on Friday, October 11 when Leicester Tigers travel to Ulster and Saracens face a tricky away tie against Connacht.

Tigers' Toby Flood says getting off to a strong start at a passionate Ravenhill is vital, while Steve Borthwick urges unbeaten Saracens to maintain their consistent start in Galway.

Also on this week's Podcast are Northampton Saints skipper Dylan Hartley, Harlequins' Chris Robshaw and Tom Savage of Gloucester Rugby while Exeter Chiefs' Dean Mumm offers an Australian perspective on the new campaign.
