This week's RFU podcast catches up with leading English referee Wayne Barnes to hear about how he intends to take charge of the new scrum engagement sequence.

The intricacies of the crouch, bind, set calls are explained in detail by Barnes, who lets us know exactly what the referees are looking for at scrum-time this season.

The Greene King IPA Championship also kicks off this weekend with three double headers, and we speak to the key players ahead of 1 Big Rugby Weekend.

There are three Championship double headers across, staged at Allianz Park and Castle Park, Doncaster on Saturday and at Sandy Park in Exeter on Sunday.

We hear from Adam Preocanin, captain of newboys Ealing Trailfinders, as well as Leeds Carnegie's Jacob Rowan, Nottingham's Brent Wilson and Jersey's Alex Rae.
