Canterbury has today unveiled its new England training range for the 2013/14 season, which will be worn by players including Chris Robshaw and Geoff Parling as they prepare for this autumn’s QBE Internationals and the 2014 RBS 6 Nations.
Designed to withstand the toughest physical pressures on the pitch, the hard-wearing training apparel does not compromise on strength, while retaining a stylish modern look suitable for the avid supporter.
Navy blue, a colour synonymous with England Rugby, features throughout the entire range with injections of vivid blue and traditional white, making the range a fresh addition to this season’s sporting wardrobe.
Back by popular demand, last season’s most sought-after item from the England training range – the Anthem Jacket – returns with a fresh look. Available in England’s much-loved white with silver and navy blue with black, the jackets each bear the England red rose emblem on the chest, the word England emblazoned across the back.
For a lightweight option to protect against colder weather, the long-sleeved Canterbury BaseLayer provides an extra layer of warmth, complete with the England red rose on the forearm to retain a subtle patriotic look.
The stylish cotton hoody can be paired with the Combination Fleece Pant for training sessions on cold days, while a full zip showerproof jacket shields players from the drizzle.
Canterbury and England puffa style jackets and gilets also offer a perfect option to stay warm for coaches on the training field, players sitting on the bench during the match, and for fans supporting the team, even on the coldest days.
A full selection of t-shirts, polo shirts, baseball caps, beanie hats and bags complete the Canterbury and England training collection, which is available now from RFU Direct and www.canterbury.com/england.
