This week’s action-packed RFU Podcast starts at HMS Collingwood near Portsmouth where England Women trained with the Royal Navy.

After a morning of problem-solving drills, Gary Street’s charges were put through their paces on a gruelling assault course. Natasha Hunt and Joanna McGilchrist were on hand to explain how the day could help out on the road to this summer’s Women’s Rugby World Cup.

A media briefing on the future of European club rugby also took place this week. RFU CEO Ian Ritchie, a key player in the resolution of a lengthy impasse, expressed his view on the situation.

There are also interviews from the Aviva Premiership. Retiring Leicester Tigers hooker George Chuter looks back on his career, while London Wasp Elliot Daly and Gloucester Rugby’s Will James preview ‘The Stinger’ – the clash between their respective clubs at on Saturday.

Finally, we check up on England Under 18 out in Poland. Harry Mallinder, who kicked a 50-metre penalty to beat Wales in the semi-final of the FIRA/AER European Championships, talks about his rugby relationship with father Jim – the boss of Northampton Saints.
