With the Marriott London Sevens at Twickenham fast approaching to mark the end of the HSBC Seven World Series campaign, Simon Amor’s charges need to stay at peak fitness.

Currently sitting fourth in the Series standings behind New Zealand, South Africa and Fiji, England now turn their attention to the penultimate tournament in Glasgow, starting on May 3.

They will be intent on climbing the season ladder, and can be extremely confident after reaching a first final of the campaign in Hong Kong last month.

Sevens is one of the most gruelling sports in the world, and England Sevens have a dedicated fitness guru in Dan Howells to work alongside the players.

In these two videos, watch him preside over captain Tom Mitchell and centre Marcus Watson as they go through two separate workouts you can do at home.
