There is still time to vote for your 2014 LV=Breakthrough Player Award winner. All you have to do is visit and cast your vote for one of the ten nominees from this year’s shortlist. 

Now in its third year, the award has unearthed some genuine international stars, with previous winners Jonny May of Gloucester and Exeter Chiefs' Jack Nowell going on to feature in this year’s England RBS 6 Nations campaign.

Designed to recognise the most outstanding young players in the LV= Cup, this season’s LV= Breakthrough Player Award shortlist features ten exciting names from either side of the Severn Bridge.

Based on performances statistics provided by Opta, eight of the nominees were chosen throughout the round stages of the competition while two “wild card” nominees have been shortlisted for having the best overall statistics of any player in the tournament.

Voting for the award closes on March 10, and after you, the rugby family have spoken, the 2014 LV= Breakthrough Player will be announced ahead of the LV= Cup Final at Sandy Park, Exeter on March 16, with the eventual winner nominating a grassroots rugby initiative to receive a £1000 donation from LV=.
