  • Pershore face West Bridgford for home Senior Vase final

Long Buckby face a potential local derby against Rugby Lions in this season’s Midlands final of the RFU Junior Vase.

Long Buckby are already through to the regional final and have been given home advantage against the winners of Rugby’s postponed semi-final against Cleethorpes.

The Rugby v Cleethorpes tie has now been rescheduled for February 22 with the Midlands final at Long Buckby due to be played on March 15.

Bridgnorth, who are already through to the Midlands final of the RFU Intermediate Cup, will now face a trip to either Newbold on Avon or Leek on March 15.

The Newbold v Leek semi-final has also been rescheduled for February 22 following a postponement earlier this month.

In the RFU Senior Vase, both Midlands semi-finals will be played on February 22 with Pershore due to host West Bridgford in a delayed tie and Stewarts & Lloyds hosting Newcastle from Staffordshire in an delayed match.

The winners of the Pershore v West Bridgford tie will have home advantage in the Midlands final on March 15.

The winners of the three Midlands finals will progress to the national semi-finals of their respective competitions.
