This week on the RFU Podcast we caught up with England scrum half Danny Care following his starring role in the 20-0 win over Scotland at Murrayfield. We also chat to Rugby World Cup 2015 ambassador Jonny Wilkinson and referee Wayne Barnes, fresh from officiating his 50th Test match in Dublin.

Stuart Lancaster's England squad have been training at St George's Park in Burton-on-Trent this week, which was a very apt place to speak to Care about his early days in the game – as well as his exceptional form in the early part of this season's RBS 6 Nations.

As a youngster, the Harlequin was on the books of Sheffield Wednesday and had to make a decision between pursuing rugby or football.

Keeping it in the halfbacks, we also grabbed five minutes with 91-cap fly half Wilkinson. This week he was at the launch of ‘The Pack’ – the volunteer programme for Rugby World Cup 2015.

Finally, Barnes reflected on his career so far, all the way through from his first game as a 15 year-old to last weekend – the fourth time he has overseen Wales against Ireland.
