RBS 6 Nations Player Diary 8 #O2InsideLine

21 February 2014

  • Fly halves George Ford and Owen Farrell on RFUtv player diary
  • Exclusive footage and informal chat during RBS 6 Nation

In the eighth of RFUtv's RBS 6 Nations Player Diaries, England duo George Ford and Owen Farrell bring you up-to-date with what's been happening at the end of the Ireland Test week.

The two fly halves, who have known each other for more than a decade, talk from outside the analysts’ room and Stuart Lancaster’s office about their gym, rugby and media sessions that day.

Ford, 20 and Farrell, 22, have an enduring friendship built-up through rugby league minis, school, next-door neighbours, England Under 16, Under 18, Under 20 and now into the senior set-up.

The conversation inevitably turns what the younger versions of each other were like, before Farrell recalls his debut again Scotland two years ago as words of advice for Ford, who is set for a first appearance off the bench.
